DICTIONARYS ALL PRESENTED!: Lion Bill Skinner stated that we have presented over 650 Webster Dictionaries to all the 3rd graders in the Falls and Woodridge School Districts, and the six private schools. We added Chapel Hill Christian School this time, as we determined that they are in Cuyahoga Falls, not in Akron. The students have been so receptive, and make the past 6 years worth the time and effort. In that time over 4000 dictionaries have been given out, which is to help the 3rd graders do well on the test they must take to move on to the 4th grade. Per the state, they must be able to read at a specified level, or they cannot go on to 4th.
MEMBERSHIP: As always, please think about family and friends of yours who might enjoy joining our Club. The fellowship and satisfaction from serving others is amazing!
